Common Questions

What are the risks of surgery?

All surgeries, including cosmetic surgery, carry risk.  Risk varies depending on the surgical procedure and unique patient characteristics. Your doctor will work with you to develop a detailed treatment plan that will minimize these risks.

Do you offer financing?

We do not currently offer financing options but do accept cash, cashier’s checks, and all major credit cards. For more information about payment and financing, visit our Financing page.

Will insurance cover my treatment?

In general, insurance does not cover cosmetic services. However, if a service is designed to improve the function of the patient (i.e. to improve nasal breathing, to improve visual fields, etc.) insurance companies do generally cover some or all of the costs of these services. Please contact your insurance company for further clarification.

Where do I park?

Free flat lot parking is available just outside of our building.

How do I choose a facial cosmetic surgeon?

If you are considering facial cosmetic surgery, choosing your facial plastic surgeon is the most important decision you will make to ensure you get quality results. You want to feel confident that you have chosen the surgeon who is best for you. Here are a few tips to help you in your search:

  • Get Personal Recommendations
Recommendations are a great place to start when looking for a facial cosmetic surgeon. If you have friends or family who have had facial cosmetic surgery, ask them about their experience. What was good? What could have been better? Would they recommend their own surgeon? Their personal experiences can help you navigate your own search.
  • Understand Board Certification
Board certification demonstrates a doctor’s exceptional expertise in a particular specialty and/or subspecialty of medical practice. Our doctors are certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ABFPRS). This means that they not only have a precise focus on surgery of the face, head and neck, but they also have had more comprehensive training in facial surgery than any other medical specialty. In addition to being certified by the ABFPRS, our doctors are also fellows of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS). As certified ABFPRS facial cosmetic surgeons and AAFPRS fellows, our doctors know how to safely and effectively perform cosmetic surgery procedures. You can rest assured that should you choose us for your care, you will be in good hands.
  • Look at Results
The proof is in the results. When considering who to choose for your cosmetic surgery, it’s a good idea to view before and after pictures, as found in our Before and After gallery. These are photos of our real patients with real results. We encourage you to review these photos, as well as ask to see additional photos during your consultation appointment, should you desire.
  • Talk to Potential Surgeons in Person
Facial cosmetic surgery requires trust, both on your part and the surgeon’s part. You need to feel comfortable around each other. Don’t be afraid to consult a few different surgeons before making your decision. Remember, you will be working with you surgeon for many weeks; you want to like him or her!

Will everyone be able to tell I had surgery?

We strive to produce natural-looking results that enhance your beauty. We often hear from our patients that their friends and family are unaware that they have had cosmetic surgery unless they tell them.
